Skin-to-skin for 15 minutes prior to painful procedures can be a potent analgesic for newborns and children. Pair it with nursing or sweet tastes and it’s even more effective. Find a carry that allows you to hold your child during injections, IV insertions, heel sticks and other uncomfortable procedures.
